PixelyChat is a desktop application designed for live streamers. It connects to multiple streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok) and pulls all of your chat messages into one single, unified interface, making it easier to read and interact with your audience while gaming.
Yes. PixelyChat uses the official Google OAuth 2.0 flow to request read-only access to your live chat. We never see your password, we do not store your data on remote servers, and your authentication tokens are kept strictly on your local machine.
Absolutely not. PixelyChat is a local desktop application. Your chat data, authentication tokens, and settings are saved locally on your computer. We do not operate cloud servers to harvest your data, and we explicitly do not sell any user data to third parties.
PixelyChat is completely free. Once the App is stable the source-code will also be made open-source.
PixelyChat hosts a lightweight local web server on your computer. You simply add a "Browser Source" in OBS Studio and point it to the local URL provided in the app. Because it's local, there is zero latency and no internet bandwidth is wasted.
Our initial launch focuses on Windows and macOS. Because PixelyChat is built on Electron, a Linux version is highly feasible and is actively planned for a post-launch update.
